PITTSBURGH, PA — The community is mourning the loss of Patience Taylor Stoddard, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 29. Patience’s passing leaves a profound sense of sadness among family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing them. Patience’s life was marked by warmth, kindness, and compassion that touched everyone they met. Patience is survived by their devoted parents, Marlene Johnson and David Stoddard, as well as their cherished children, Harmony and Ziaire. They are also survived by a dear sibling, Joel Stoddard. Patience’s greatest legacy undoubtedly lives on through their children, who will carry forward the love and guidance instilled in them by their parent.

To honor Patience’s life and the impact they made, a visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory. This will be followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM at the same location. Friends and relatives are invited to come together during this time to pay their respects, share memories, and find comfort in one another’s company.
